personal legend only accomplished by faith

To fufill my greatest dream that does not include material items such as riches, but instead something that makes spiritually happy and helps people.  This task is a difficult one but it is not impossible. All I have to do is to proceed, believe and never give up.  One person can make a difference when they stand up for a righteous cause no matter what the odds against them are, example martin luther king, Malcolm x and many others.

 I want to join these people who I listed above in the history books. I want to be remember more then just a person who was rich but spiritually rich. Many people want the same thing as myself but they don't know how to accomplish this. The only way to do this in my opion is to do what you love, do it in a way that will not only benefit you but everyone around you.  Thankful for me I know what I want to do in life that will not only benefit myself but everyone who listens.

My goal my personal legend that I want to accomplish is to become a rapper. Many people think that this idea is foolish but many people don't understand the power of music and how it can move a whole generation. Now and days rap is only filled with profanity,violence and drugs. Now if we look at the youth their is a raise in drug use, violence and kids losing their morals. There is something trebly wrong with the world. Something that comes for within the human body something the bible refers to as sin. Sin has caused wars, killings,rape,thefts and many more other awful things. The music now in days just influences peoples mind to commit these awful things. But my plan will be to help the world with my music that will peach the word of god and lead kids away from this path. all they have to do is listen and follow.

The Upsides Of School And Work

Gratitude in the work place. Even though its more easier then said then done, my past experience as a middle class worker has opened up many new gates for me. I complained about various jobs Ive had in the past but these jobs shaped my mentality and helped me become the person I am. I learned various things from the jobs I had all the way from cooking,cleaning, doing laundry,yard work and various other essential things that has helped me become independent.

Each day I go to work I learn new things that will help me throughout the course of my life. My work has been what has provided me to eat and live on my own. Even though sometimes I don't wanna be there I am glad because many people are unemployed begging for someone to give them a job. Each day passes and I think how my work will help me complete my education in school.

Even though school can be annoying sometimes I am grateful that I have the opportunity to learn how to fulfill my dreams and accomplish them. School will open the doors that I want. School will give me the opportunity to better my future and accomplish things that I only have dreamt of. In the boy who harnessed the wind a kid from Africa wanted to go to school so bad but didn't have enough money to afford to go to his classes. This is just another reason why I should be grateful of all these opportunities that I have because people would kill to be in my position.

The stories of my future

My ideal future is complicated. I want to have many different jobs my ideal jobs would be , rapper, pilot,CIA agent, FBI or any job that has excitement and the opportunity to travel the world. My pay check would be enormous enough to live till I die from one pay check, this would allow me to fulfill all my dreams of helping my family,friends and people that are not as fortunate as I am. I plan on having three kids of my own and then adopting at-least five  kids from third world countries to give them an opportunity to have a better life. 

Working as a pilot is a stress full and lonely job sometimes. You have to fulfill the companies needs and sometimes work over night. One night I was very tired I worked for three over night shifts in a row which is technically not allowed but I was forced to, I also didn't have my co-pioloit with me by my side and I fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a deserted tropical island. To my luck everyone survived we built a huge home for all of us to live in until we got where rescued three years later during these three years I found the love of my life and got married and had three kids

At age nineteen I started to invest in the stock market. I didn't have that much money so I deiced to invest in dollar stocks and I had a feeling that this one stock was going to be my stock that made me a millionaire. I invested all my savings one thousand dollars, it was a gamble of the dice but i took it. Overnight to my surprise this one dollar stock grow so rapidly that I made millions in a day! This was the start to my new life as an investor. These one dollar stocks was where it was at, even though there was millions of them I had a gift to pick out the ones that rose to the top. Each of my investments made at least hundreds of thousands of dollars. I bought my pent house apartment in new york and married my beautiful wife and started a charity fun for kids that didn't have parents and opened up an orphanage, which became my family.

The universe will bring me this week

Then I want to build my own studio and recored label and become better then Kendrick Lamar. Then I plan on going on a world tour where I can perform music all over the world. I plan on getting rich off of this and making enough money to buy myself a cool car, teach people how to be successful and then buy my mom a nice house. After I plan on helping kids in Africa by building houses and giving food away to the hungry. Then I plan on moving back to brazil and getting involved with politics hopefully become president. Then I plan on getting married have kids and watch them grow. Then I plan on dieing an honorable death fighting for something I believe in either trying to save someone, being assassinated for a cause or just some cool sorta death thats not to boring where people will remember me as a hero.

Passion Of My Life

One of my greatest passion in life is writing and making rap lyrics. Everyday seven days a week, I try my best to at least write one rap song. This sometimes may take several hours depending on how complex the lyrics and rhyme schemes are. Sometimes I get home for work and finish my homework and stay up late at night trying to finish a song. I take mental notes throughout the day when I'm not able to write some lyrics down I remember them in my head. This exercise I do, is fun for me and I enjoy it. If I was able to do this for a full time job everyday of my life I would love to do it.

If I could make rapping into a career I would have to become extremely dedicated to it and make songs many songs. Now in days everyone is trying to rap so it has become very competitive. In this case if I could not make a good song that people are willing to listen to I could always sell my rap lyrics or give rap lessons. I could also learn how to become an audio engineer and work with people who rap. There are many different possibilities to get involved in the rap industry through promoting for other artists, writing their lyrics, making beats for them, or just making your own song. If I could be involved in any of the areas that I listed I would be more then happy to even if the pay wasn't that good.

The services I would be involved in would target the younger population the young adults ages vary usually from fifteen to twenty eight. My that I would be willing to work for is to target people at a young age with music to help them do better in life and serve as a type of mentor. I would also be willing to work with other artists as a coach or help them promote their work as long as it has an a positive  message. Young artists who are usually gifted have a lack of promotion that will get their work out there. So if I could help these kids as a manger of some sort it would be awesome because I would be able to help them fulfill their dreams. If I would be able to promote my own stuff and get people to listen I think it would send out a positive message and help them think of whats really going on in the world that we live today.

THE ALCHEMIST BOOK REVIEW BY VITOR MOUZINHO

Paragraph 1: Introduction.  How would you describe the plot and and the thesis of this book?

The alchemist was written by Paulo Coelho the worlds best selling author. This book has inspired many people in the world with over thirty millions copies sold and translated into fifty six different languages.  Why is the book so famous and inspiring one may ask. The plot of this book is of a boy named Santiago  he is a humbled shepherd who leaves his simple life to follow his personal legend. In the book it describes a personal legend as your propose in life something that is your dream to accomplish.  He passes through many tribulations to go follow his dreams to see the egyptian pyramids.  He meets many new friends and the love of his life. Reading this book I came out with an out come that the thesis of this book is, that if you follow your dreams the whole universe will help you accomplish your dreams.

Paragraph 2:  Focus on one part of the story that really hit you - and made you realize something.  What was happening in the story and what did you learn from it?  How does it relate to your experience?

Reading the book the alchemist it taught me something important. In the book Santiago meets the love of his life in the deserts while he was searching for his treasure. Even though Santiago became very rich , a leader and didn't want to leave he was convinced by his friend that love should never stand in the way of someone chasing their dreams.This passage in the book relates to reflects similarities that I have faced in my life. Before I enrolled in college I had a girl where I lived that both of us loved one another to fulfill my dream of going to college and getting an education I had to leave her. Even though it was for the best I did not want to leave but she convinced me to go because if I didn't she would feel like it was her fault that I did not get an education.  So after reading this book it made me reflect on the past and realize something that I subconsciously know, that love should never stand in the way of someone following their dreams.

Reading the book The Alchemist has made me thinking about many different possibilities in life and has encouraged me to keep following my dreams. The thing that I love most about The Alchemist is how it inspires people to fulfill their dreams and take chances. Like Santiago who gave up everything that he had just to follow his dreams even though he was robbed three times! Unfortunalty nothing in this world is perfect which includes this book. Throughout the book the plot keep me flipping through the pages non stop. But at the ending of the story Santiago finds his treasure and becomes a very wealthy man. I didn't like this pat because I wanted the treasure to be something more unpredictable something more than wealth its self.  

Paragraph 4:  Would you recommend this book to a friend?  Write why or why not?  Who would it be good for?

                                   The Alchemist has been one of the best books I have read in a while. It would defiantly without a doubt be on my list of books to recommend to my friends. I would recommend this book because it inspires people to get up and follow their dreams. I would recommend this to my friends who are depressed with their life style. This would help them change their ways and switch it up to go chase their dreams.Overall this book I would really recommend to anyone because it is a good read and it motivates people to do what they always  wanted to do.

Gratitude and giving thanks

This week, we are obviously thinking about gratitude.  I'd like you to write a three paragraph journal entry that answers the following questions:

1.  What do you tend to take for granted?

It is human nature for a person to take things for granted. Every day that passes things happened in our lives that we never give thanks for. Only when we lose that thing that we should have been grateful for we realize how we never gave thanks for it. In my life I have many situations like this that I forget to thank god for. Even though there has been many challenges in my life there has been many good things in my life. I usually to for granted my health,my job and where I live. Even though I miss my family in brazil i have to thank god that I am in america the land of opportunity. There are many people without jobs and I sometimes take this for granted. There are many sick people in the world that cant even walk! But god has blessed me with health even though I take it for grant sometimes.

2.  What are you grateful for (what things, experiences, people, etc)

There are many things I am grateful for. I am very grateful I am alive and well. I am very grateful to have my own apartment. Ever since I can remember I have always wanted my own place. Now I have my own place that is safe and I can call home. I am so very grateful to meet my good friends Phyllis and Toby. Phyllis and Toby have reminded me of my grandparents and they are very kind and trust worthy people that has helped me through out my life. I am grateful the most for such a nice mother that has helped me through out everything. Even though my dad has not been a good influence in my life my mom made up for it by always helping me with everything.

3.  What are some of the the good things that you you could "take in" and absorb more?  Take in the good and write about the experience

some more of the good things I could take in would be laughing more. Even though I am a very goofy kid I would like to laugh even more! Laughing is cure to everything I think if your always laughing you will always be happy. Whenever I am down and feel sad if I turn on the T.V. or see something funny happening I start to laugh and forget about the negative and enjoy laughing. Who doesn't love laughing any ways to me laughing is a gate way to happiness and if you have a good senesce of humor and dont take what everyone says so serious you will always be happy!

There are many fears that we face through out life. Some of these fears we overcome with difficulty some of these fears stick with us through out our lives and may never be won. The part of growing up is overcoming these fears that hold us back from our true potential. We face these fears every day if its at work, school or even in our own homes.

Throughout my nineteen years of living I have been faced with many obstacles that has scared me and made me feel helpless. To overcome these obstacles I had to go through various challenges, embarrassment and great difficulty. Things that Ive had diffuclty throughout the past couple of months has been my work load. Ive had to face the challenges of working, going to school and living without my parents. As I write these paragraphs I feel overwhelmed with the work load Ive had. Each day I wake up at six and have to walk forty minutes to the train station then take the train to go to school. Then I have to sit through class and then go to work. Then I have to take the train back do dishes,cook and clean. My biggest fear is getting sick, this makes me afraid because I will not be able to go to school and miss work. Missing work would be a struggle because then I wouldn't have enough money to pay for my bills.

These fears and challenges through out my day has been hard to overcome. These things are just apart of growing up. I have to overcome these challenges and fears so I can move on with my life and reach my goals. To overcome this I will have to plan out my time wisely and make a schedule that will fit everything into my day. To overcome my fear of not having enough money to pay my bills because of missing work when I'm sick, I would have to save up my money and be very cautious the way I spend it. Then I would put it into a savings account and only tap into it when I really need that money. This will help me conquer my fear and know that I have a back up

Daily routines

        Lately I feel like I have fell into a cycle of partners. Every day has been feeling the same. Same old routine, same old people,same old classes, and same old job. Nothing new and interesting has really been happening the past couple of weeks. Ive been having many dayjavos  because I legit have been doing the something every day! Some times I wish there where many more hours in a day so I could have time for an adventure and go out and do something fun.

     
       I feel like all I do is go to school in the morning then go to my job and stay up late finishing my homework. I am a very social human being it is very frustrating having many responsibilities and following the same schedule everyday. I really hope it is very different when I finish school because this life that I am living in the present it is pretty boring. But in general I can not really complain about anything other than that.

       I am a healthy young kid living in a great country full of opportunities. Even though I am very bored and feel like I am living a dull life right now it will be worth it at the end of my college career. I have to stay focused and not give up on my goals in life. I am going to have to sacrifice a lot of things so I can stay on the right track. Once I am done with college I can travel the world like I have always wanted to. As a nurse I will have the opportunity to work any where in the world and help many lives while getting paid to do it, so I guess I can put up with a little bit of board for now. =}

The worst mistake that became a blessing

        Out of the many mistakes I have made One them still haunts me to this day. When I was young and I became desperate for money I decided to started selling weed. I made fast money and saved up a lot. But soon after I was arrested by an undercover cop. I had to stay in jail for a little while and had to go to court where I was really embarrassed by this mistake. My name made the paper and I felt so ashamed.

        After getting arrested they suspended me from school until the court was finished. I was so angry because it was my most important year and being suspended from school affected my grades so much. I also was so embarrassed when I went to work they left the news paper with the page open that mentioned me in it. I grabbed all the news papers at my job and put it into my backpack to hide it from everyone. Even hiding the news paper they still called me about the situation. They told me that someone cut out the section and put it into the bosses mail box. That just angered me even more and I became so frustrated. Then the next week they called me down the office again and said someone told them that I came to work high. This made me go home and feel sad because I didn't even do drugs I was sick and tired of being picked on because of a mistake I made.

       This whole situation became a blessing because I started to understand that for every action there is a reaction. For all your mistakes you make there is a consequence. This whole situation made me realize that if I do anything wrong it will change the way people look at me. Before this whole situation I was looked as a hard worker and a good kid. I became known after as A drug dealer and user even though that wasn't who i really was. But my actions spoke more then my words. So this made me realize that I had to straighten my act and become more careful because If I do bad things there will be negative consequences.    This was a blessing overall because it gave me knowledge.

Three major experiences in life

Experiences can do many things for a human being. It can change ones prospective, learn something new about ones self and much more.  Every day each of us experience something new that will shape our personality our way of thinking wether its work, some loved one passing away or traveling to a foreign country. These experiences are yours and yours only this is who you are and no one will take these experiences away from you.

 One of the most satisfying experience throughout my life time was moving on my own. My mom always believed in me and prayed so I could have a better life. On the other hand my dad always critiqued me and always set me up for failure. My dad told me I would never survive I would never save up enough money that I could never do anything on my own. But after moving out I proved him wrong, I saved up enough money to pay for my education and have my own apartment at a young age. I managed to live by myself and have no problem at all. This experience gave me the chance to prove my dad wrong and for me to realize one of my powers, how independent and self reliant I am.

Another one of my experiences that I had that taught me many things was working at an elderly home. This taught me how life is precious and fragile. I worked in the alzetimers unit, where the residents had mental issues due to diseases, addictions, and life events. I learned a lot from these residents how things in your past can haunt you till a very old age. It also showed me spiritually that every life has a meaning  and that you must do good things in your life time before the day you pass. I learned that life is to short to be angry that you must live and be happy because life is to short.

Moving to America even though only being a child at such a young age has changed my life forever. This expeince this event has opened many doors for me then having to live in Brazil. This gave me the chance to have a better education then the one that was offered to me in Brazil. It will increases my chances of being successful in life because I came from a really poor part of brazil where we don't have many chances. This also gave me the ability to learn another language which will be very useful in life.
